What is an affiliate link?
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy a product, the company may pay us a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you, and the price you pay is the same as if you went to the company directly.
How this affects our content
It doesn’t. Our ratings, rankings and recommendations are based on our own testing and research, as described on our How We Test page. We include products whether or not they have an affiliate program, and a commission never buys a better position or a better review. If a product isn’t a good fit for a certain type of business, we say so, even if it pays us.
Which companies we work with
We may participate in affiliate programs run by software companies directly or through affiliate networks such as PartnerStack and Impact. Articles that contain affiliate links include a short note at the top.
Sponsored content
If we ever publish content that a company has paid for, it will be clearly labeled as “Sponsored.” We do not currently publish sponsored reviews.
